4 L Cattle Company is a family run operation that started on February the 29th, 2004. 

Here's how we came to be 4 L....

#1 Son (Laramie) came in one day after he'd been out with Chad ( "The Teasin' Stud" ) Beavers
and asked me if we could get into the bucking bull business. I informed him it takes alot 
of money (that we don't have) to start something like that. He kept on and I told him if he
was serious about this to bring his grades up and keep'em up. Then we'd talk alittle more 
about it. Who'da thought he'd bring'em up and keep'em up. Laramie had been talking 
to different breeders about some cows.  Chad had put us in touch with some other breeders 
who are in the business. That really helped alot to talk to different breeders until the price 
of cows per head came up. Tell the banker you want to borrow $3500. to buy some cows. 
Then when he asked how many are you wanting to buy. And you tell him 2 head. Watch the 
expression on his face. That's when you go and talk to dear ole dad. Anyway,we made 
an appointment with Brother Trent West to look at some of his cows and bought 2 
Little Houdini daughters. We have since bought cattle from Vidale ( Fear Factor) McCracken, 
Barnes Rodeo Co., Bill Foster, Harold Proctor and John Rose.
